About the L.A.B. Golf DF 2.1
Founder Bill Presse developed DF 2.1 while pursuing two goals: reduce the torque that can rotate a conventional putter face during the stroke and make off-center contact more forgiving. Its unusual footprint became the original large-format expression of L.A.B. Golf’s Lie Angle Balance concept.
The shape is intentionally unlike a traditional blade or compact mallet. L.A.B. balances each build around its intended setup, using the shaft-bore position and angle together with CNC-milled weights and tungsten powder.
