About the L.A.B. Golf OZ.1i
The L.A.B. Golf OZ.1i was introduced in 2024 as the insert-equipped member of the OZ putter family and marked the first time L.A.B. Golf offered a putter model with a face insert. Its construction pairs a 6061 aluminum head with a 303 stainless-steel insert while retaining the company’s Lie Angle Balance design approach.
That insert is also one of the most useful identifiers in the secondhand market. The closely related OZ.1 uses an all-aluminum construction without the stainless insert, so an OZ.1 and OZ.1i should not be treated as interchangeable used-market evidence. Standard stock OZ.1i builds were offered at 33, 34, and 35 inches with a 69° lie angle and 2° of shaft lean.
