About the PING G430 Max Fairway Wood

The PING G430 Max fairway wood pairs a forgiving MAX head with Carbonfly Wrap crown construction. The lightweight composite crown extends into the heel and toe portions of the skirt; PING used the saved crown weight to lower the center of gravity and increase forgiveness and MOI.

The lineup included 3 Wood at 15°, 5 Wood at 18°, 7 Wood at 21°, and 9 Wood at 24°. Facewrap uses a thin, variable-thickness maraging-steel face that extends into the crown and sole to increase face flex. Spinsistency varies the face's roll radius to improve performance low on the face and reduce excess spin on thin strikes.

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 provides eight hosel positions with ±1.5° loft adjustability and flatter lie settings. The values on this page use the 3 Wood reference; other club numbers and exact builds can differ.
